Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards that are made to order and require a short cooking time (Items like: appetizers, burgers/wraps/sandwiches, quesadillas, pizza, salad etc)
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely
- Maintain proper food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure guest safety and quality standards
- Support the kitchen team during service hours by managing food orders promptly and accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants, catering services, or the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Must have active (or willing to obtain a Food Handler ServSafe Certificate)
- Experience working high volume a plus
- Ability to work efficiently during busy weekend shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ & COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH
- REGULAR WEEKEND AVAILABLITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
