We are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Practice Manager / Hospital Administrator to oversee daily operations and support our continued growth.
Job Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the hospital operates efficiently, profitably, and with exceptional client and patient service. This role oversees staff management, financial performance, workflow, and hospital policies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, proactive, and experienced in leading a veterinary support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Lead, train, and support team members; address performance concerns
- Manage scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Maintain strong client service standards and resolve concerns when needed
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, payroll, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety requirements, and industry regulations
- Support veterinarians and staff in maintaining high-quality patient care
- Oversee equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and vendor relationships
- Implement operational improvements and hospital policies
Qualifications
- 2 years of leadership or management experience (veterinary/medical setting preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience with EzyVet practice management software and basic financial reporting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and hospital workflows preferred
- CVPM certification (or willingness to pursue) is a plus
