Role Overview
As a Battery Sorter, you will properly identify, and sort batteries based on the chemistry/type.
You will tape the terminals of the batteries and pack batteries using bags and boxes.

Key Responsibilities
-
Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following warehouse safety
procedures and processes - Identify and sort batteries by chemistry
- Taping terminals/ends of batteries
- Sort out debris and non-conforming material
- Store batteries and non-conforming material in drums
- Label drums according to regulations and guidelines
- Weigh and document material
- General cleaning
- Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations
- Sit or stand for most of the shift
- Some locations may require operating a forklift to transfer material
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
- Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
