We are searching for a qualified leasing consultant to manage leases, mediate agreements, and ensure an efficient and reliable leasing process. The leasing consultant will tour properties and follow up with prospects to make sure that our properties are rented on time. The ideal candidate will be as personable as they are organized, committed to growing our business and instilling a sense of confidence in our tenants.

Role: Bilingual Leasing Consultant

We are looking to hire two leasing consultants: One for San Marcos and the other for San Antonio.

Join our property management team as an Bilingual Leasing Consultant — a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to grow into a permanent leadership role.

This position offers the selected candidate to live on-site. As part of the compensation package, discounted on-site housing will be provided after 30 days upon initial hire, offering significant added value and convenience.

Objectives of this role

• Guide prospective tenant through the leasing process
• Facilitate communication between tenants and maintenance
• Ensure that agreements are executed accurately and on time
• Manage and lead property tours
• Find leads for our properties
• Grow our network of prospective tenants
• Conduct marketing
• Assist direct supervisor with day to day operation responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Show properties to prospective tenants
• Follow up with leads about rental properties
• Communicate applicants’ questions and concerns to maintenance
• Manage the signing of lease agreements
• Collect and review lease application documents
• Responding to potential tenant interest for rental properties in-person and via digital platforms
• Showing properties, answering questions and finalizing terms of leases
• Establishing tenant expectations for security deposits, procedures for rent and amenities that will be part of the lease
• Preparing potential tenant background checks, including reference letters, rental history, income verification and lease application
• Properly executing all terms of a lease and taking needed steps in the case of a defaulting tenant
