Paralegal

The Long Island Office is looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our growing team.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare legal documents, motions, and tenders.Oversee and prepare discovery demands and responses including drafting of good faith letters and motions to compel.Review medical records.Trial preparation.Research legal precedent.Enter billable time entries into ProLaw.Position Requirements:Paralegal certification or equal required; Associate degree preferred.5-8 years minimum as paralegal with New York General Liability and/or Injury Law required.Experience with New Jersey General Liability and/or Injury Law preferred.Must be able to handle a workload of cases simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.Cipriani & Werner P.C. offers a comprehensive benefit package. The candidate will occasionally need to accompany attorneys for appearances or meet for strategy during trial prep.The salary rage for this position is $75,000-$85,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting.
