Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Athletic Trainer at Comprehensive Injury Prevention Solutions in the Rockford, IL metropolitan area. The Associate Athletic Trainer will be responsible for designing and implementing injury prevention programs, providing athletic training support, acting as a subject matter expert for our clients, conducting ergonomic analysis of job tasks, developing ergonomic strategies to reduce the likelihood of work-related musculoskeletal injuries, and consult with OHS for medical management of work-related cases. We respectfully request that personal trainers not apply.
Key Qualifications
Required:
- BOC Certification: Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer. https://bocatc.org/.
- Bachelor’s in Athletic Training or related healthcare field.
- Skills in injury evaluation, EHR documentation, acute care, ergonomics, and risk reduction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Additional certifications (e.g., CEAS I, FMS, CES, OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid).
- Advanced degrees (MAT/DAT).
- Experience in workplace injury prevention.
