Team
You will be a part of a larger Finance team supporting our North Americas operation and currently counting 10 employees. The department covers Transactions, Finance Operations, and Finance Process and Policy. You will be in the Finance Operations team currently counting 3 employees.
Role
As our new Accounting Manager, you will jointly oversee all U.S. and Canada accounting processes and projects and report directly to the Finance Director. In this position, you will manage external service providers to ensure accurate and timely completion of periodic accounting closes and delivery of financial reporting.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
We are looking for a motivated individual holding a relevant degree with min. 8 years of relevant full-time experience. Besides this, you have advanced experience with automating key processes/workflows and an ability to identify and provide solutions to complex accounting issues and questions.

- Research and apply accounting standards for unique transactions or support the implementation of newly issued/newly relevant accounting standards
- Manage relationships with multiple external accounting service providers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services
- Review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders both in the US and in Denmark including the investment team, tax, business finance, and asset management team.

- A self-motivated self-starter with a structured, methodical and disciplined approach to work, strong attention to details, and the ability to independently connect the dots, prioritize effectively, and to thrive under shifting priorities
- Results-driven with a high execution orientation, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, address issues pragmatically, and complete tasks through to completion
- Experience in Renewable Energy, Power & Utilities, or Infrastructure preferred.
