Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the Hope Mills, NC (Corporate Office) warehouse management function to control, deliver, and distribute materials/consumables to job sites. This role assists with the execution of an overall strategy to deploy an optimized logistic process for the successful completion of Energy and Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy Solutions jobs. The manager will follow governance and quality auditing processes to monitor the warehouse's performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost.
A successful Warehouse specialist displays exceptional knowledge of company logistics policies and relevant industry standards. An outstanding Warehouse specialist can identify opportunities to streamline the logistics process within the warehouse quickly and efficiently to ensure the timely and profitable delivery of materials/consumables and equipment to job sites.
Location Requirement: Candidates must live within 50 miles of Hope Mills, NC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This job often operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Adhere to and improve upon established logistics policies and procedures that increase efficiency within the warehouse.
- Ensure the organization's strategic logistics plan is being followed, tracking established KPIs (Key performance indicators) for productivity, speed, and accuracy.
- Provide personnel with logistics related information such as training sessions, after action reviews, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
- Review policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date.
- Audit warehouse level logistics based on the organization’s established logistics tracking system.
- Oversee the warehouse's daily logistics operations and identify opportunities for improvement of its processes.
- Perform warehouse inventory audits to identify possible inventory issues.
- Assist division logistics managers/coordinators to ensure compliance with the logistics process and streamline the on-site workflow to maximize productivity in the field.
- Measure the project logistics team based off established metrics to track progress, proactively identify areas of concern, and drive accountability.
- Prepare warehouse specific monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and present this information to leadership.
- Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company, supporting the corporate safety program and personnel.
- Handle special assignments and other duties as requested by leadership.
- 2 years of relevant experience in the Construction /Logistics
- A certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management.
- Forklift certification preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge of the Construction/Electrical/Natural Gas/Directional Drill/Mud Management, and the Logistics/Transportation industry.
- Ability to conduct data analysis and report statistics to leadership.
- Display strong critical thinking skills, organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate professional maturity and ability to function as a change leader.
- Working knowledge of inventory/warehouse management software, such as Tool Watch.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to operate a truck with a trailer, and willingness to transport material using this equipment.
- Must be willing to occasionally stay overnight when making deliveries to projects.
- Valid US Driver's license, CDL (preferred), but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Ability to pass a background check.
