Position Summary

The Consultant-Pre Construction will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for solar construction projects using Primavera P6. This role involves close collaboration with pre-construction, project managers and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Primavera P6.
• Develop resource-loaded schedules, perform resource analysis, and ensure optimal resources.
• Regularly update project schedules to reflect changes in scope, timelines and resources.
• Generate and present schedule reports, including progress updates and critical path analysis, to project stakeholders.
• Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with project teams to verify scheduling information and ensure alignment with project goals
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures ensure schedules meet established standards.
  
  

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• BA in construction management, engineering or a related field preferred.
• Needs to have electrical license in multiple states
• 5 years of experience in project scheduling with a focus on solar construction projects
• Proficiently in Primavera P6 including intermediate to advanced skills in schedule and cost control
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• This position will be required to travel up to 75% of the time.
