Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cosmetology Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring beauty professionals. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training across a wide range of cosmetology disciplines, including skincare, hair styling, nail care, esthetic treatments, and massage therapy. Your expertise will empower students to develop their skills confidently while fostering a supportive learning environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of beauty industry leaders through engaging lessons and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Explain, demonstrate and instruct the Cinta Aveda Institute methodology and terminology
- Lead the team with a team-focused attitude with exceptional and proven leadership qualities
- Ensure all classroom and clinic floor protocols and standards are maintained
- Maintain service and retail sales to stated objectives
- Maintain a healthy and positive internal culture that is committed to growth and striving toward company goals.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates will have a current Cosmetology license, a minimum of 2 years experience as a hairstylist/cosmetologist/educator
- Thrive in working together on a team player orientation.
- Teaching experience is a plus.
- Provide ongoing support and encouragement for every student
- Understand and show competency and confidence in all aspects of the Cinta Aveda Institute curriculum
- Inspired to mentor and encourage students
- Cultivate a positive experience for each student what leads to student success
- Skilled in team building and creating a co-operative work and learning environment
