Job Summary
Dutch Bros is seeking a Senior AI Desktop Engineer to build and deliver enterprise AI-powered desktop applications on the Tulip Platform. This role focuses on creating native-quality Electron applications for Windows and macOS, integrating AI capabilities, automating business workflows, and delivering secure, high-performance user experiences.
Required Skills
8 years of software engineering experience.
Strong experience building Electron desktop applications for Windows and macOS.
Expertise in desktop UX, workflow automation, and OS integrations.
Experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and conversational AI.
Strong REST, GraphQL, and event-driven API integration experience.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Enterprise SSO, and secure credential storage.
Hands-on experience with code signing, macOS notarization, auto-updates, CI/CD, crash monitoring, and enterprise deployment (Intune/Jamf).
Preferred Skills
Enterprise productivity or internal desktop applications.
Azure OpenAI, Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, vector search, or AI orchestration frameworks.
Microsoft 365, ERP, HRIS, ticketing, or identity platform integrations.
Experience in retail, restaurant, ecommerce, finance, or supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities
Build and ship cross-platform AI-enabled desktop applications.
Automate manual workflows using AI, RAG, and agent-based solutions.
Integrate desktop apps with enterprise systems and Tulip services.
Maintain secure, scalable, and observable desktop applications.
Mentor engineers through design reviews and code quality practices.
Partner with business teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
