Team Member - Service/Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
• Operate POS systems for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
• Prepare simple food items following established recipes and food safety protocols
• Manage customer orders efficiently using food handling and food service customer order management techniques
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing exceptional customer service
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation and service
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at shift end
• Support food safety management practices by following sanitation procedures and proper food handling techniques
• Assist in serving customers at counters with a positive attitude
• Maintain organized retail sales areas, restock supplies as needed, and ensure a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging with guests
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is desirable
• Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or restaurant setting will be beneficial

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
