Payment Posting / Balancing Specialist
Locations: Brooklyn, NY OR Tempe, AZ
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
We are actively looking for experienced professionals with strong knowledge in healthcare payment posting and balancing processes.
🔹 Key Requirements:
✔ Must be well-versed in Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
✔ Strong understanding of healthcare providers & insurance payer behavior
✔ Experience with balancing and reconciliation processes
✔ Knowledge of contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays & co-insurance
✔ Ability to resolve payment discrepancies accurately
✔ Familiarity with HIPAA and handling PHI securely
📌 Job Responsibilities:
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately from paper/electronic EOBs
• Interpret and key EOB data into RMS systems
• Balance daily deposits and reconcile remittances
• Identify payment variances and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accuracy in accounts receivable records
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines
