Java – Spring Boot Developer (8–12 Years) – Onsite Chicago (Local Only)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer (8–12 years) for an onsite role in Chicago, IL.
Candidates must be local, hold a valid local driver’s license, and be available for a mandatory in-person interview at the client’s Chicago office.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Build and enhance RESTful APIs for distributed systems
Ensure application scalability, performance tuning, and security compliance
Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product teams
Required Skills
8–12 years of strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, SQL/NoSQL databases
Good knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka/MQ preferred)
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD
Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Mandatory Requirements
Must be local to Chicago or nearby
Must have a valid local DL
Must attend final onsite interview at client office
