You are a rockstar creative storyteller and digital marketing expert (huge plus). Logistics are your forte, from project budget spreadsheets to the tiny details of production planning.
You have 2-3 years of producing and/or digital marketing experience either at another agency or as an established freelancer with some clients of your own.
You are confident on set and can lead a crew, conduct an interview or even direct talent to accomplish our project’s vision.
You are great at networking, communicating and entertaining.
You want to find a new home to create within, with a family of like-minded people, to scale our combined artwork to new heights.
- Project Leadership: Lead the production of assigned projects, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and CinemaStory’s quality standards. Oversee all aspects of production, including design, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. When needed, perform the role of onsite Producer, Director or Assistant Director.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, managing communications and expectations. Ensure that client feedback is incorporated into the production process and that any issues are resolved promptly.
- Sales Support: Serve as the additional relationship developer, client sales consultant and budget and deck builder to supplement our sales team. Attention to relationship building and company representation driving activities such as but not limited to: attending trade shows, networking events, client consults and discovery calls, warm lead follow-up and cold outreach.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate Producers, Editors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution. Delegate segments of work to Associate Producers during peak periods and provide guidance to ensure high-quality output.
- Mentorship and Development: Act as a senior mentor to Associate Producers, Production Assistants, and Interns, providing ongoing guidance and support. Be responsible for the continual development of these team members, ensuring they grow in their roles and contribute effectively to projects.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during a project, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget. Collaborate with the team to find creative solutions to challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the high standards expected by CinemaStory. Review work produced by the team and provide feedback to maintain quality across all aspects of production.
- Financial Management: Manage financials related to projects, including bookkeeping, reimbursement management, vendor and contractor payouts, and minor reporting.
- Proven experience as a Video Producer or similar role for 2-3 years.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects all with great storytelling.
- Expertise in creative development, pre-production strategy, production logistics, and post-production quality control.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with relevant software (Google Suite, Monday.com, Basecamp).
- Reliable transportation to and from the office and occasionally on-location set days.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally (passport) for work.
Growth Timeline:
- 2-3 weeks: Hands-on training with our producer team at our office/studio in Richardson as contractor.
- 2-3 months: Audition period with you running projects from start to finish as contractor.
- 3 months: Opportunity to progress to full-time W2 producer role.
Additional Information
The physical work environment for this role includes a combination of working in our office/studio in Richardson TX as well the ability to attend networking events, trade shows and on-site productions. Ability to travel nationally is important and passport/international travel ability preferred.
