Lead Global Compliance Strategy for a Growing Food & Ingredient Innovator!

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead and oversee company-wide regulatory compliance programs, ensuring consistent alignment with federal, state, international, and internal quality standards. This role manages the Regulatory Compliance team, provides strategic guidance across departments, and plays a key leadership role in product compliance, labeling, claims, certifications, and global market readiness.
This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Quality, R&D, Sales, Procurement, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Regulatory Compliance team, including performance management and training
- Interpret and monitor federal, state, local, and international regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain regulatory policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks
- Communicate and evaluate regulatory impacts on product development, commercialization, labeling, and supply chain
- Review, approve, and maintain nutritional panels, ingredient statements, and product labels
- Oversee regulatory review of product claims (nutrient, natural, non-GMO, organic, Kosher, Halal, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy of product and raw material specifications
- Coordinate documentation, submissions, certifications, and audits with regulatory bodies and commercial partners
- Respond to customer requests and evaluate complaints from a regulatory standpoint
- Stay up to date on evolving regulatory standards, industry trends, and compliance risks
- Drive a strong culture of compliance, quality focus, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related scientific field is required.
- Minimum 5 years regulatory compliance experience in the food, ingredients, or related manufacturing industry
- Experience interacting with FDA, USDA, or international regulatory agencies
- Strong background in product labeling, certification systems, regulatory documentation, and compliance risk management
- Prior experience managing or developing a team is strongly preferred

Salary : $107,000 - $152,000
