Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other POS equipment to process transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately and provide correct change to customers.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to ensure a pleasant environment.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex cases to supervisors in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in customer service is a plus.
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle electronic payment methods.
