Commercial Overhead Door Technician

Due to high client demand and exciting company growth, we’re hiring an experienced to join our team. We’re looking for a well‐rounded technician skilled in installation, service, and repair across a wide range of commercial door systems.

Responsibilities

· Install, service, and repair overhead sectional, rolling steel/roll‐up, high‐speed, man doors, and fire‐rated doors

· Install, program, and troubleshoot commercial door operators

· Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues

· Perform maintenance, safety inspections, and documentation

· Communicate professionally with customers and work independently in the field

Required Qualifications

· 3–5 years of commercial overhead door experience

· Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

· Proficiency with operator installation, setup, and programming

· Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Ability to lift 75 lbs and work at heights

Nice-to-Have Skills

· Dock leveler, dock seal, and shelter experience

· Welding or light fabrication

· Specialty door experience (rolling steel, high‐speed, etc.)

· Low‐voltage electrical troubleshooting

· General construction or facility maintenance background
