Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for the support and maintenance of internally developed trading and enterprise applications, ensuring seamless operation for end-users including traders, operations, compliance, and technology staff
- Investigate, triage, and resolve technical incidents, user inquiries, and service interruptions—providing comprehensive troubleshooting across the application stack (UI, API, database, cloud infrastructure)
- Monitor production applications for performance, latency, and data integrity, leveraging monitoring and alerting systems (such as AWS CloudWatch, DataDog, or equivalent) to ensure rapid incident detection and response
- Coordinate application deployments, upgrades, and hotfixes with internal development teams, validating post-release behavior and maintaining high system availability during critical trading windows
- Document resolutions, maintain knowledge bases, and produce user-oriented runbooks, ensuring repeatable, standardized support practices
- Escalate unresolved or highly technical issues to appropriate developer or infrastructure teams, supplying relevant log data, diagnostics, and impact assessments
- Liaise directly with business stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate changes, and provide training on new features, workflows, and updates
- Champion best practices for operational excellence, automation of support procedures, and continuous improvement of monitoring and incident response workflows
Experience
- 2 – 5 years of experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications or trading platforms in a financial services, fintech, or technology-driven environment
- Demonstrated experience with incident management, technical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis—particularly in environments involving high-availability, distributed systems, or real-time data flows
- Familiarity with core technologies: C#/.NET, Python, Node.js (ability to read code and parse logs required; scripting to automate tasks is beneficial)
- Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), and basic database troubleshooting, including running queries for support and data analysis
- Experience supporting applications on modern cloud platforms (preferably AWS): deploying, monitoring, and navigating cloud service failures or degradations
- Direct exposure to monitoring, alerting, and production diagnostic tools
- Understanding of event-driven and real-time processing (e.g., Websockets, SignalR, messaging platforms) and their operational support considerations
- Ability to clearly document solutions, update support guides, and communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated analytical, investigative, and problem-solving strengths across a full technology stack
Education
- Required: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
