THE BASICS
Pay: This teaching position comes with a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000/year.
Schedule: You typically work from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

YOUR DAY AS A K-3RD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL TEACHER
With a positive attitude and a desire to do your best, you come to school every day ready to inspire your young students. You're responsible for preparing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and adapting your instructional methods to meet every student's individual educational needs. As you deliver your lessons, you encourage class participation, track the children's progress, and manage student behavior. To create the most effective plans possible, you embrace research-based education practices in your planning and instructional methods. You collaborate with staff and families to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive!
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
While not required, the following preferred criteria would help you stand out:
- 1 years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching in an urban educational setting
- Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment, including observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to properly manage confidential information
- Ability to supervise students of different ages in various school settings
