Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces when applicable
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure surfaces are hygienic and spotless
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and using specialized equipment for deep cleaning as needed
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, mirrors, and other fixtures to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with demonstrated expertise in cleaning procedures and equipment use
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific tools or products used
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work when necessary and handle repetitive tasks involving dusting, sweeping, mopping, and other cleaning activities
