The Role: Underwater Problem-SolverAs a technician on our team, you aren’t just a "pool cleaner"—you are a specialized diver and investigator. We are the "Detectives of the Pool World," stepping in to solve complex issues that standard pool companies can't handle. This role is perfect for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with their hands and spending their summer in the water rather than just beside it.
Primary Responsibilities- Underwater Investigation: Use dye tests and electronic equipment to pinpoint leaks in liners, concrete, or plumbing.
- Submerged Repairs: Patch liners and apply specialized epoxy to structural cracks while fully submerged.
- Mechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair pumps, filters, and heaters.
- System Plumbing: Conduct pressure tests and perform minor PVC repairs.
- Seasonal Maintenance: Execute professional pool openings and closings.
- Documentation: Provide clear digital reports and photos to homeowners regarding their pool's "health."
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs across 100 yards and be a strong, confident swimmer.
- Technical Aptitude: Knowledge of pool equipment or a strong "handyman" background.
- Safety & Trust: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a comprehensive background check (required for entry into private residential backyards).
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Current SCUBA Certification (PADI/NAUI).
- Prior experience in pool chemistry or equipment repair.
- Experience with underwater photography/mobile photography.
