The Brake Operator will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC press brake machines to perform tasks such as bending, forming, and shaping sheet metal. This is a full-time position that requires precise execution of measurements, following safety guidelines, and ensuring product quality meets high standards. Additional daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, conducting routine inspections of tools and machines, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is an on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH.
- Experience with CNC press brake operation, including setup and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in measuring devices and tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and materials, including forming and bending techniques
- Understanding of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications or training in metal fabrication or CNC operation are a plus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabricating environment is strongly preferred
