Join our dynamic On Call Banquet TEAM and play a pivotal role in elevating our hotel's convention services! As a Banquet Food Server, you will be integral to our success, providing outstanding guest service by delivering food and beverages with a smile. We value friendly, courteous, and professional interactions, ensuring our guests leave with unforgettable memories.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
- Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to create an inviting and memorable experience
- Deliver guests' food and beverage with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
- After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions to ensure it's perfectly prepared for the next event
- Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and properly storing all condiments and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities
- Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
- Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
- Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the meeting spaces and kitchen areas
Education:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
- Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
- Food Handlers Certification required
