Semester: Summer 2026
Position Summary & Purpose: Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our After Sales Engineering team. Under direct supervision/guidance, organizing, updating, and maintaining engineering documentation for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of documentation including drawings, manuals, specifications, and project report
- Audit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Assist in the documentation of control system retrofit and upgrade projects, ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Collaborate with engineers to gather and organize technical information for documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the After Sales documentation and workflow programs
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency and accuracy
- Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress
- Review new and existing writings of manuals and documentation, adding supplemental materials as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of engineering documentation and technical drawings (preferred)
- Ability to learn new software quickly
