Job Description:
Educate elementary aged children, creating an engaging environment in which students thrive and learn.
- Responsible for all instruction in classroom, including care and nurture of all enrolled students
- Able to communicate effectively, possessing developed verbal and written interpersonal skills
- Able to assess the social emotional, academic developmental needs of the students
- Plan engaging/creative appropriate instruction for the students
- Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively, developing positive relationships with CHCA staff, administrators, parents, and students
- Able to integrate Christian principles into the student's learning experiences and nurture their faith
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Middle School Social Studies
- Experience working with elementary and Middle School age students
- Current Ohio teaching license with PK-6 certification
- Strong Christian background
- Two years of experience preferred as well as experience with Responsive Classroom and Leader in Me curriculum
