What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Technician position at Cincinnati Commercial Property Management?
Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance for our office & retail properties located around Cincinnati, Ohio.
Responsibilities include daily grounds pick up, responding to tenant work orders, and general maintenance.
Position requires knowledge & experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general building systems, carpentry skills, landscaping and performing preventive maintenance. Ability to interact & communicate with tenants, vendors & staff.
Duties, Experience, Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift/push over 50lbs, able to walk, stand, bend for extended periods.
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Complete weekly paperwork, report daily to property manager and otherwise perform tasks as directed.
- Ability to coordinate with other staff on projects as needed. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance on various equipment, systems and properties.
- Respond to maintenance requests from internal departments in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times.
- Must be flexible with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must.
- Must be willing to learn & take direction.
- Position requires occasional overtime and on-call needs.
- Valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED are required.
- 5 Years plus experience in commercial property management required. Do NOT apply without this experience.
