We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazier/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and related fixtures across a variety of construction and remodeling projects. Your expertise will help ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and precision. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and custom fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans.
- Fabricate glass components and related materials in the shop or on-site as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
- Apply caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry techniques to ensure airtight and aesthetically pleasing finishes.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, mirrors, frames, and metal or wood trim with precision.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials and disposing of waste according to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in glass installation, construction estimating, or related trades such as carpentry or remodeling.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various construction site environments.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, fixture installation, door hanging, cabinetry setup, and remodeling projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and installations.
