Job Responsibilities
- Medication Orders - Preparing sterile and non-sterile products and doses, compound suspensions, solutions, inhalations, etc. Calculate doses and drug volumes for drug dosages. Fill and deliver medication to patient care areas. Prepare batch labels and repackage drugs from stock solutions. Prime central line fluids and using automated compounder for parenteral nutrition admixtures.
- Systems and Documentation - Interact with pharmacy and hospital computer systems as necessary.
- Inventory Management - Maintain inventory, rotate stock, manage stock levels and supplies as necessary.
- Cleaning Areas - Following departmental standard operating procedure.
- Training - Complete all coursework within the assigned deadline, engage in all aspects of training and approach the training with an inquisitive and professional demeanor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Certified via Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 10 months of hire
- Register with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy

- Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status $16.50 - $19.80
