We are hiring an Assistant Sales Manager for our granite and cabinet company.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow into a full Sales Manager position.
You will be involved in sales, team support, and daily operations — working directly with ownership. All decisions and processes go through the owner, and you will be trained step by step to eventually take over full management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Sell directly to customers (showroom follow-ups)
- Assist in managing daily sales operations
- Monitor and enforce CRM usage and pipeline tracking
- Support hiring and onboarding of new sales reps
- Help train and coach sales team
- Participate in daily sales meetings
- Assist with handling customer issues and escalations
- Help close deals with sales reps when needed
What This Role Is NOT (Important):
- You are not the final decision maker (yet)
- You do not run the team independently
- All key decisions go through ownership
This is a training proving ground for a future Sales Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in sales (required)
- Leadership or team lead experience (preferred)
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Comfortable working inside a CRM daily
- Ability to handle pressure and solve problems
- Wants to grow into a leadership role
Industry experience (kitchens, cabinets, countertops, construction, home improvement, or similar) is a strong plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $45K–$65K
- Commission on personal sales
- Bonus opportunities based on team performance
Growth Path:
If you perform, you will move into a full Sales Manager role with increased compensation and full team control.
