What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Faculty position at Cincinnati Ballet?
Cincinnati Ballet seeks a Resident Faculty member to deliver high-quality dance instruction within the Otto M. Budig Academy across the Preparatory, Young Dancer, Community, and Advanced Divisions for students ages 8 and up.
Reporting to the Academy Director, this role supports the Academy’s artistic and educational vision through excellence in ballet pedagogy, student development, and classroom engagement. The Resident Faculty member fosters both a lifelong appreciation of dance and the development of students pursuing professional training.
The ideal candidate is an experienced ballet educator who demonstrates strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a positive, student-centered approach. This individual serves as a mentor and ambassador for Cincinnati Ballet, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
In collaboration with Academy leadership, the Resident Faculty member supports the planning and execution of programs that strengthen the Academy’s quality, growth, and national reputation.
