What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Quality Engineering Technician Lead position at Cinch Connectivity Solutions, Inc.?
Advance your career as a Senior Quality Engineering Technician Lead at Cinch Connectivity Solutions. You'll set-up and perform a variety of complex mechanical, electrical, and functional tests. You'll also lead activities within AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies while being the on-the-floor point of contact for day-to-day issues supporting direction given by supervisor/manager ensuring goals and objectives are met.
Are You Looking to:
- Conduct mechanical and electrical testing and inspection/verification to defined specifications for new and existing products, raw material, warranty returns and calibration.
- Compile and provide test reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee test fixtures construction for material, product, or process analysis.
- Participate in supplier and customer audits and provide technical data as required to support findings.
- Lead activities within AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, identification, corrective action and verify solutions.
Are You Ready to:
- Create and maintain routine data collection, entry, or reporting to assure product conformance, process capability, or equipment calibration.
- Set-up and operate a variety of mechanical or electronic measuring equipment, provide support and test procedures for special processes.
- Provide on-going training to Quality Department employees and assign proper training to new team members.
- Establish and maintain high performance teamwork and positive working relationships within assigned teams and with all applicable company departments, and other internal and external customers.
Job Requirements:
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred.
- 6-10 years' experience in a quality environment.
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician
- Must have knowledge of inspection techniques, metrology methods, GD&T, complex blueprint reading, routings and S.P.C.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
