What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Process Engineer - Electroplating position at Cinch Connectivity Solutions, Inc.?
Continue your journey as a Sr. Process Engineer at Cinch Connectivity Solutions. You will manage and maintain all plating and chemical surface finishing processes and related activities. This role also ensures continued compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. You will also e stablish and achieve planned performance levels, with primary emphasis on continuous improvement, ISO and Lean Manufacturing.
Are You Looking to
- Prepare, institute, and sustain procedures and controls for all processes employed in the plating lab.
- Ensure safe operation of all surface-finishing processes.
- Participate in the development of new and upgrading of current processes or investigate and recommend changes to and additions of equipment and processes.
Are You Ready To
- Help manage waste streams and help effectively treat and store hazardous waste that is accumulated from the plating process.
- Participate in and takes proactive roles in ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification.
- Monitor process operating parameters and correct deviations from established set points.
- Revise process work instructions as needed and write new work instructions to support process changes or improvements, as necessary.
Job Requirements:
What You'll Need
- BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- 5-years' experience in relevant plating and/or chemical processes.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
