Overview
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing bookkeeping practice in the Creekside area of Tomball, TX. This in-office, part-time role will support the day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple client accounts and work closely with the business owner.
This position is not client-facing. Your focus will be on production work and internal support, playing an important role in the firm’s continued growth. We are looking for someone who enjoys structure, takes initiative, and thrives in a small, focused environment.

Position Details
- Hiring to begin mid November
- Part-time, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week
- Flexible hours within standard business hours
- In-office only (Tomball/The Woodlands, TX)
- Contract to start, with the goal of transitioning to an employee role as the firm grows
- Pay range: $20 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Background and financial background checks are required
- A non-compete agreement is required, as this position is intended for someone who wants to grow within the firm, not build their own client portfolio
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients in QuickBooks Online
- Categorize transactions and maintain organized, accurate books
- Support month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain checklists, notes, and internal documentation
- Help with internal workflow organization and process improvements
- Handle general administrative and bookkeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years QuickBooks Online experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a strong plus
- Experience with monthly and yearly reconciliations
- Experience with QBO cleanups is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Professional integrity and respect for confidentiality
- Self-motivated and able to take direction
- Strong communication skills for internal collaboration
