SURVEYOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Surveyor for dimensional control of steel fabrication pieces in the bridge and commercial industry. Checking three-dimensional controls of mechanical components with the use of specific instruments (TOTAL station). Preparing and updating 3D models related to the controls carried out. Verifying conformity of the pieces with the model of reference. Verifying and monitoring the progress of the production line and compliance with dimensional characteristics.
Ideal candidates will have experience with industrial measurement techniques, familiarity with survey-grade instrumentation, and an understanding of how dimensional control integrates with 3D reality capture technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform verification of dimensional compliance and spatial relationships based on project requirements.
- Maintain clear and accurate survey documentation, including control reports and markups.
- Collaborate with scanning leads, data processing teams, and quality control personnel to ensure project specifications are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dimensional control surveying
- Proficient with total stations (Trimble, Leica, etc.) and other survey instruments.
- Proficient with MS Office & AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with databases for storing and retrieving survey information.
- Ability to transcribe technical information clearly and concisely.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
