Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems using ammonia or CO₂
- Service diverse environments including food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, chemical plants, cold storage warehouses, and ice rinks
- Ensure adherence to CIMCO’s safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Qualifications
- 3 years of field experience in industrial/commercial refrigeration
- Experience with ammonia refrigerant systems (required)
- Familiarity with reciprocating and screw compressors
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively
- Background in industrial refrigeration and/or gas compression systems
- RETA 1 & 2 certification (preferred; must be willing to obtain)
- Universal EPA certification (preferred; must be willing to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
- Proficiency with basic computer tools for electronic documentation
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders safely
