Cimarron is seeking a System Administrator who specializes in MBSE to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
Key Duties
- Provide visible, active leadership to deliver exceptional quality, operational, and reliability results related to MBSE tools and processes.
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) requirements to ensure compliance, reliability, and accuracy across all applicable MBSE suites.
- Manage training processes in Finished Products to align with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) goals and MBSE suite objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and comprehensive training materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand existing data model structures and develop methods to integrate them into reusable MBSE standard models.
- Support the evolution and standardization of the MBSE environment.
- Drive engagement processes to empower end-users in process and tool usage, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements.
- Define onboarding and rollout plans for new projects and tools, including delivery schedules, training needs, and impact assessments for MBSE infrastructure.
- Identify and implement best practices through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, continuously improving MBSE processes and tools.
- Design reports and metrics from MBSE tools to support documentation and compliance efforts, providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 3 months of start date (e.g., Security ).
- 12 or more years of general, full-time work experience.
- 5 or more years of directly related experience.
- Experience managing technical support for both back-end and front-end components of an MBSE suite.
- Experience coordinating with and managing external vendors related to the MBSE suite, including IBM, Dassault, Sodius, and Atlassian.
- Strong customer-focused interaction skills.
- Experience analyzing technical issues, providing recommendations, and contributing to solutions.
- Willingness to work late-night maintenance windows to support patching and system updates.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and changing priorities.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving system requirements.
- Skill in de-conflicting competing requests and requirements effectively.
