Engineering Technician - (WET092426.1)

Watring Technologies, Inc. (WTI) is seeking Engineering Technicians to support aerospace hardware assembly, integration, and testing activities in Huntsville, AL.  This position is supporting work at the WTI headquarters location for the assembly and acceptance testing of aerospace hardware including hardware sub-systems and components.  Come join our team to support this technically challenging and important endeavor.

Key Duties: 

• Perform assembly procedures for the fabrication and integration of systems and components into higher level assemblies.
• Execute acceptance test procedures for functional verification of high/low-pressure distribution panels, sub-systems, and components.
• Fabricate specialized test apparatuses for gaseous testing and exercising sub-systems and components.
• Support assembly, integration, and testing activities for space hardware.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. 
• 1 or more years of aerospace hardware assembly experience.
• Working knowledge of fabrication skills, including cutting, grinding, bending, hand tools, fastener installation, material handling, surface preparation, inspections, and dimensional measurements.
• Strict attention to detail and documentation of assembly processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work well with others and within a team.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and mechanical equipment layouts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
