We currently operate three core gathering & processing systems across the Texas Panhandle (Rock Creek), central Kansas (Peak-Otis & West Wichita), and Chaves County, New Mexico (Roswell).
Position Summary:
This position is located in Peak-Otis area. The primary responsibility being pipeline and related facility maintenance out of the Larned, KS office.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
· Performing one call line spots by marking pipelines and completing One Call requests.
· Participate and successfully complete training programs, process safety management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations.
· Reviews procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements.
· Performs remedial and preventative maintenance and maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities.
· Responds to operational emergencies as required.
· Performs regulatory required inspections.
· Locate pipelines as needed and oversee excavations and line crossings.
· Install pipeline markers and do routine inspections on ROW.
· Maintain and operate corrosion control equipment.
· Attend and participate in damage prevention meetings.
· Dehy monitoring and maintenance.
· Launch and receive pipeline pigs to clear liquids from the pipelines.
· Monitor tank levels and take gauge readings.
· Set up and monitor methanol injection tanks.
· Hooking up meter runs and assist with new line installs.
· Clear line freezes and blockages.
· Monitoring of Oxygen and H2S issues that arise on the pipeline system.
· Pipeline maintenance including repairing leaks, leak surveys, chart changes/PD readings, painting, mowing, weed eating, spraying, greasing valves, blow down, evacuate and purging of high-pressure pipelines, repair of pigs, and performance of housekeeping duties on assigned.
· Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed.
· Start up and shut down of compressor stations.
· Assist with Preventive Maintenance on Compressors.
· Monitor gas quality at interstate pipeline sell points.
· Complete all required documentation.
· All other duties as required for efficient departmental operations.
· Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind.
· Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
· Ability to operate hand and power tools, heavy machinery, and other pipeline-related equipment.
· Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and respiratory protection.
· Must have sufficient vision and hearing to detect and respond to alarms, signals, and abnormal operating conditions.
· Ability to perform emergency response duties.
Use of Machines, Equipment and/or Computers
· Regular use of complex machines and equipment
· Must have experience using a laptop
· Cygnet software experience a plus
· Microsoft Office experience a plus
· Road and production machines and equipment, etc.
Required Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
· Must have a valid Kansas Driver License
