Key Duties
- Perform assembly procedures for the fabrication and integration of systems and components into higher level assemblies.
- Execute acceptance test procedures for functional verification of high/low-pressure distribution panels, sub-systems, and components.
- Fabricate specialized test apparatuses for gaseous testing and exercising sub-systems and components.
- Support assembly, integration, and testing activities for space hardware.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- 1 or more years of aerospace hardware assembly experience.
- Working knowledge of fabrication skills, including cutting, grinding, bending, hand tools, fastener installation, material handling, surface preparation, inspections, and dimensional measurements.
- Strict attention to detail and documentation of assembly processes.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work well with others and within a team.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and mechanical equipment layouts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
