Duties

• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing payments accurately and handling cash safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible beverage service policies.
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the menu’s appeal and variety.
• Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within the hospitality industry; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience with catering or banquet service is advantageous but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
