The Role
Cigna's HealthService Leadership Program (HLP) is a cross-functional leadership program that builds an extensive leadership foundation through rotational experiences within the health service space—an industry that is more dynamic and exciting than ever. Program members engage in best-in-class leadership development through three to four key assignments, personalized to associates, across multiple business segments, each 12-24 months in length, over 5-7 years with the ultimate goal of program members attaining key enterprise leadership roles.
Key tenets of the HealthService Leadership Program (HLP) experience include:
Three to four personalized rotational assignments ranging 12-24 months in duration, aligned to Cigna's growth strategy, and individual personal development goals
Client and customer facing experiences
Exposure to global markets
Leading a major change initiative and influence across the matrix
Managing a team and major project through its implementation
Understanding key stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem
Understanding diverse customer segments and distribution channels
Supporting and enabling mergers and acquisitions through special projects
Exposure to senior leaders with focused mentorship, leadership coaching, and professional networking
A supportive and collaborative community of peers
Outreach through community service and charitable events

Qualifications
Masters of Business Administration, Master of Public Health, or Master of Health Administration
3-5 years of professional experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization
Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
Passion and dedication to become a business leader in health service industry
Strategically-minded with a global mindset
Strong business acumen and leadership
