POSITION OVERVIEW

The Junior Data Analyst will be a member of the technology team responsible for developing internal business applications and maintaining in-house and third-party installed applications. The candidate will demonstrate a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service. The successful candidate is a motivated individual eager to help ensure that current and future software solutions advance the organization’s goals and market competitiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the work to determine, develop, test, and deploy new technology solutions to address specific business needs.
• Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug, and document solutions to business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Developers, Managers, Business Partners, etc.) to enhance our products and services.
• Provide technical expertise and dedication to addressing any issues that may affect the use of currently implemented software products and data.
• Collaborate effectively with the offshore team through clear communication.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Proficiency in any one of the programming languages Java, C#, Python. Good understanding of data structures and multi-threaded(multi-core) distributed programming.
• Knowledge of SQL / No-SQL database/s, proficient in reading/writing queries and procs.
• Familiarity with a data analysis framework in any programming language, preferably Python or Java.
• Ability to come up with creative solutions to find errors and patterns in data.
• Very good analytical and debugging skills in finding the root cause and fixing it in real-time.
• Exposure to Azure or any cloud infrastructure would be a bonus.
• Good understanding of the latest LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and related trends.
• Experience in AI enabled development and use of AI to solve data issues.
• Experience handling multiple requirements at the same time.
• Ability to function at both detail and conceptual levels.
• Strong client-facing skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative in the organization and a strong team player. Ability to work autonomously while also integrating appropriately with the team (onsite & offshore).
• Pragmatic in applying technology to solving business issues.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.
• Highly organized, efficient, and able to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
• Composure and resilience when navigating a fast-moving trading floor with direct, results-driven personalities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good planning, organizational, implementation, and follow-up skills required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
