Job Title: Mobile Field Service Technician – Golf Cars & Forklifts

About Us
Cienega Tek Serv LLC provides on-site maintenance and repair for golf cars, forklifts, and fleet equipment for manufacturers, including secure defense manufacturing facilities. We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on technician who takes pride in keeping equipment safe and running.
What You’ll Do
- Drive a company-provided service truck to customer sites and perform repairs in the field
- Diagnose and repair electric golf cars, including batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, and wiring
- Service and repair electric and internal combustion (IC) forklifts, including hydraulics, brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Handle light repair work on trucks and trailers (brakes, lights, wiring, tires, basic mechanical)
- Read wiring diagrams and use multimeters and diagnostic tools
- Keep accurate service records and parts usage
- Work professionally on site while following customer safety and security procedures
What You Need
- 5 years of experience repairing golf cars, forklifts, or similar equipment preferred
- Willing to train the right candidate who is strong in one area (for example, solid forklift skills but new to golf cars)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (DC systems, batteries, controllers)
- Valid driver’s license with no DUIs in the past 7 years and no more than 3 moving violations; other records may be considered subject to our insurance carrier’s approval
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and follow our drug-free workplace policy
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain security clearance, as required by our customer’s government defense contracts
- Must have your own common mechanic’s hand and power tools; larger specialty tools are provided
Nice to Have
- Forklift OEM training (Toyota, Hyster-Yale, Crown, Raymond, etc.)
- Golf car OEM experience (Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Evolution)
- DOT inspection experience
