Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Diesel Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills for light- to medium-duty diesel vehicles, trucks, and related systems. You’ll work in a well-equipped shop on a variety of diesel repairs, maintenance, and custom work alongside our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems (fuel systems, injectors, turbochargers, emissions, etc.).
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluid services, brakes, suspension, etc.).
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced tools and interpret results accurately.
- Handle repairs on drivetrain, transmission, electrical, A/C, steering, and braking systems.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure top performance.
- Maintain detailed service records and follow inspection protocols.
- Keep work area clean and organized; assist with shop cleanliness and inventory.
- Collaborate with advisors and team for efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3 years of solid experience as a Diesel Technician (more is better — we want proven pros).
- Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and ability to work on diesel engines in cars, trucks, and light fleets.
- Own tools required; familiarity with diagnostic equipment a plus.
- ASE certification (or willingness to pursue) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, with good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy components and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
