Role Description
This full-time on-site role for a Seamstress is based in Amityville, NY. The Seamstress will be responsible for altering, tailoring, and fitting garments to meet clients' specifications. Daily tasks include collaborating with clients during fitting appointments, handling dressmaking projects, performing precise alterations, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. The role also involves maintaining excellent communication with team members and providing superior customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dressmaking and Tailoring to deliver exceptional garment alterations and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to execute accurate Fitting procedures to meet clients' individual requirements and preferences.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and ensure satisfaction.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in bridal or formal wear alterations is a plus.
