Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, site civil and general building facility projects in the Reno/Sparks area, located near the USA Pkwy region. This role requires deep technical expertise in Site Civil and General Building Systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and proven experience delivering complex, mission-critical facilities in fast-paced environments. The Project Manager will serve as the primary client-facing representative responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder coordination from pre-construction through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead overall project management for large-scale site civil and other general building system projects, including ground-up builds and major expansions.

• Technical Oversight: Provide strong technical oversight of Site Civil and MEP systems design, coordination, installation, and commissioning.

• Financial Control: Manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and change management.

• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with critical

milestones and commissioning requirements.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and commissioning agents to ensure integrated project delivery.

• Procurement: Oversee procurement strategies, bid packages, and subcontractor selection.

• Communication: Lead OAC (Owner/Architect/Contractor) meetings as required and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards, particularly in

mission-critical environments.

• Risk Mitigation: Manage risk identification, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

• Commissioning: Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure full operational readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on site civil operations and commercial or mission-critical projects.

• MEP Expertise: Strong, hands-on expertise in MEP systems coordination and delivery.

• Infrastructure Background: Proven experience delivering high-tech facilities, data centers, or similar critical infrastructure projects.

• Commissioning Knowledge: Strong understanding of commissioning processes and system integration.

• Project Scale: Demonstrated ability to manage projects in the $5M–$50M range (or equivalent complexity).

• Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Environment: Experience working in hyperscale or enterprise data center environments.

• Sustainability: Familiarity with LEED, sustainability, or energy-efficient building systems.

• Project Delivery: Experience in design-build or integrated project delivery (IPD) environments.

• Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification (equivalent field experience in a dedicated PM role will be

considered).

• Software Skills: Strong working knowledge of PROCORE, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.
