Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and transactions accurately
• Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sanitizing surfaces, kitchen equipment, and dining areas regularly
• Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Assist in food handling procedures ensuring compliance with food safety management practices
• Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including product recommendations and inventory management
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following proper procedures for food preparation
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously
• Uphold sanitation standards through routine cleaning, waste disposal, and adherence to health regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols diligently
• Experience in food preparation, food handling, or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial in understanding sales transactions and inventory control

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
