Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines to ensure optimal cleaning results.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding textiles according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry areas by adhering to safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport linens and textiles safely throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly, ensuring correct usage for effective textile cleaning while maintaining safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to laundry requests from hotel staff or departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards in production environments and familiarity with safety protocol adherence.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting textiles, and managing laundry loads accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care machine operation and textile quality control.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment by following all safety standards in production areas.
