We are currently seeking an experienced Seamstress / Tailor to assist with garment alterations and finishing for men's wear garments.
Position OverviewThis role is ideal for a candidate with experience in:
- menswear alterations
- jacket adjustments
- trouser alterations
- dress shirt alterations
- garment finishing
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a professional retail environment.
Responsibilities- Perform alterations on men’s jackets, trousers, dress shirts, and related garments
- Complete basic jacket adjustments, including sleeves, sides, tapering, and minor fit corrections
- Hem and taper trousers
- Perform shirt alterations, including sleeve shortening and side adjustments
- Assist with garment finishing and quality control
- Work closely with store staff to ensure proper garment fit and client satisfaction
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Previous tailoring or seamstress experience required
- Experience working with menswear garments preferred
- Ability to operate industrial sewing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, professional, and organized
- Ability to manage alteration timelines efficiently
